Traditional research is that research conducted by researchers using a scientific method. Usually, it is conducted to provide a problem-solving solution as the researcher could interact face-to-face with the participant where makes it more effective than the online research.
Action research is a systematic approach that instructors and administrators can use to collect information that tells them about the teaching and learning processes. It is also used as a tool to find out if teaching strategies are effective or not and if there are any problems that students may face to be solved.

Quantitative research depends on data about the quantity where this data has a numerical, mathematical, or statistical value. this data could be collected using experiments and surveys and analyzed by using scales and descriptive statistics. A test score is an example of the sources that could be used to collect that data. this method ensures that no any personal bias would be involved from the researcher
A qualitative method is a method that focuses on narrative data that are observable. To collect that data, the researcher uses the observation or an interview then uses similarities or themes to group and label that collected data. In contrast with the quantitative method, results could be affected due to a personal bias.
While attending ETEC 5430 course I can see that I have the process of being understanding the concept to conduct a research plan through specific questions that are helpful to make a meaningful topic to search about. Moreover, I can see the importance of the keywords and how to find a relevant resource to build my research. During the class, discussing topics helps me to be clear about what am going to do in the future. I have learned from conducting action research new strategies to help students overcome their difficulties and be more engaging in the class.
