📈Macroeconomics: Economic Growth

This course introduce students to the theory and empirics of long-run growth. We begin with the Solow model and its extensions, then move on to endogenous growth theories, using real-world data throughout to understand the determinants of economic growth and derive coherent policy recommendations.

This course provides an introduction to the field of international trade theory, related empirical work and related economic policy issues. It introduces the main concepts and theories, from the Ricardian comparative advantage theory to heterogeneous firm models. The course also looks at issues of trade policy and factor mobility.

This internal seminar serves as a forum where both young and senior researchers from the International Economics and Labour Markets (IELM), the Economics of Sustainable Development (ESD), and the Financial Globalization (FG) groups of the CES can share their ongoing work, present their findings, and engage in constructive discussions.

The conference is designed to foster exchange between junior scholars (PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers) and the broader academic community. The 2026 edition will feature two plenary sessions with invited keynote speakers, a roundtable on the French job market, and approximately 60 contributed papers by PhD and postdoctoral students.
