HI! I'm Franz, Apulian gastronomic guide and Host of "MOH" my own home.

I was born in this land to a family of humble workers and I grew up with my grandma among hot coals, earthenware pots and handmade pasta, surrounded by the scent of the soil and sea air.

Despite having lived for about 18 years in Rome and having led a hectic life between offices, computers, music from jazz to electronics, contemporary art and audio video installations, i have always loved cooking for family and friends, so during the Covid-19 pandemic i decided to move to the countryside of my land to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Once back i continued my journey by looking for local farms and trustworthy providers, willing to use natural,  organic and seasonal ingredients only, in all my recipes and the richness and variety of Apulian cuisine with the tranquility of the countryside, allow me to enjoy a healthy and tasty life, always keeping up with the traditions and the desire for genuine food. 

Countless lunches, dinners and special occasions passed before this dedication and culinary skills brought me back to the pleasure of sharing the most typical flavors of the local cuisine with always different people, as I truly believe that good food reminds you who you are and where you come from in the most memorable way.

My delicious house is located 5 minutes driving in the countryside between Polignano a mare and Conversano and 13 minutes from Monopoli, it is on top of an hill surrounded by olive, cherries and almonds trees and bordered by the characteristic dry stone walls built by our ancestors and where it is possible to admire the sunrise in the sea to the east exactly at these coordinates 40.97434771390981, 17.156334446935386 that you can enter in google maps or any satellite navigator or take advantage of the folkloric transport with ape calessino (Tuk Tuk) of one of our official partners
