Varsity-life:
Varsity is a new stage of life, but for me I didn't found it so new but it was relatable. I could relate to the varsity life since it is filled with people from different tribes and I am from a community where there are multi-languages (Community of Alexandra). I could engage with many students since I am multilingual, therefore this worked at my advantage to the point where I can create friends. Varsity came with many challenges but there were not that hard to overcome them, one of the challenges that came with varsity was Independency. I feel like with varsity the main challenge is independency, because is like you are starting your life on a new slate where there is nobody to back you up. You have to think about yourself more than anybody else, since at the end is only you and it is hard to trust other people that you are not used to them. Academically is also the same, you need to prioritize your work since there wouldn't be anyone to chase after you and ask about your progress. It is urgently to make friends that you could trust them in varsity because at some point you will need them, it is not easy to survive on your own. Varsity it is the survival of the fittest, if you lack things like communication, courage and other things it won't be easy to adapt to the environment.
High school life:
With high school life things were much differently, there were much familiar things. In high school it was easy to adapt because many people were from the same community as me, some of them are the ones that I met even in primary so I couldn't stress with thing like making new friends. High school was easy since I had many people to back me up, people like old friends who are trustworthy and family. With high school teachers were always insisting that you should write your work and they were pushing you to do so, so you could see how importantly was to update your work. It was like a walk in a park because everything you did you had someone to advice you about. The only challenges I had it was that I was starting to be exposed to the corrupt life (smoking, gangs and gambling life), there was like a pressure to do those things. It was like you are not meant for the environment if you are not participating in the corrupt life, but you end up realizing as time goes on that everything you do will reflect on your future. I could see by the people in the community how life turned up for them. With high school is the matter of resisting yourself from bad things so that you don't end up adding to the stats of wrong things.
