About me

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Theoretical Biological Physics at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. I primarily work with Herbie Levine and Michele Di Pierro on the eco-evolutionary dynamics of cancer and mammalian genomes.

Previously, I worked with Andrew Eckford as a postdoctoral fellow at York University in Toronto, Ontario. My focus was on problems at the interface of information theory, evolutionary biology, and systems biology (also a current interest of mine). Before then, I was in the Biophysics and Computational Biology graduate program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. There, I worked with Diwakar Shukla on understanding the conformational dynamics of plant proteins using molecular dynamics simulations.Â
