Food and Shelter


Moez and Marissa both have a passion for food. They understand the importance of a healthy meal, and believe food security is a necessity for building a better future for all.


They support organizations such as Community Food Centres, which improves access to food for those in need, as well as shelters that provide vital housing programs for marginalized communities.


North York Harvest Food Bank

As the primary food bank for northern Toronto, North York Harvest Food Bank helps more than 16,000 people every month through about 60 programs, including an agency network, research and advocacy, training programs, and community food spaces.

Fred Victor

The Fred Victor Center works toward the goal of long-term improvement for Ontario’s homeless and low-income populations. With services including Food Access Services, Affordable Housing, Shelter, Transitional Housing, Job Training and other specialized support programs. Fred Victor is making a difference in the lives of homeless people across the province.

Homes First

Homes First manages more than 15 shelters serving displaced and marginalized communities in desperate need of safe housing. The nonprofit has been supporting vulnerable populations for more than 35 years.
