Welcome to ModernDarzee

ModernDarzee is a complete tailoring business management solution designed to help tailors manage customer measurements, orders, invoices, payments, reports, and business records efficiently. The application reduces paperwork, improves record management, and helps ensure customer information remains secure and easily accessible.

Chapter 1: Getting Started

Introduction

ModernDarzee provides a digital platform for storing customer measurements, creating invoices, managing tailoring orders, tracking payments, and generating business reports.

The application is suitable for:

• Tailors shops

• Boutique Owners

• Fashion Designers

• Garment Shops

• Alteration Services

System Requirements

• Android Smartphone or Tablet

• Internet Connection (for login, subscription, and backup services)

• Active Gmail Account

Chapter 2: Sign up &  Login

Create a New Account

To create a new account in ModernDarzee:

1. Tap the Sign Up button on the login screen.

2. Enter a valid Gmail address.

3. Create a strong password and confirm it.

4. Tap Create Account to complete the registration process.

Important Notes:

• Use a valid and accessible email address. It will be required for account verification and password recovery.

• If you forget your password in the future, you can use the Reset Password option to receive a password reset link on your registered email.

• Make sure your password is secure and easy for you to remember.

• Avoid using temporary or invalid email addresses, as they may prevent you from recovering your account.

Login to Your Account

To access your ModernDarzee account:

1. Open the ModernDarzee app.

2. Enter your registered email address.

3. Enter your password.

4. Tap the Login button.

Tips:

• Make sure you enter the same email address used during registration.

• Check that your password is entered correctly, including uppercase and lowercase letters.

• Ensure you have an active internet connection while logging in.

Forgot Password

If you cannot remember your password:

1. Tap the Forgot Password? option on the login screen.

2. Enter your registered email address.

3. Tap Send Reset Link.

4. Check your email inbox for a password reset message.

5. Open the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.

Important Notes:

• The password reset email will only be sent to a registered account.

• If you do not receive the email, check your Spam or Junk folder.

• Use a strong password that is secure and easy for you to remember.

• After resetting your password, return to the app and log in with your new password.

Chapter 3: Home Dashboard

The Home Dashboard provides an overview of business activities.

Dashboard Information

• Total Pending Orders

• Completed Orders

• Delivered Orders

• Last 30 Days Performance Summary

• Upcoming Orders with Nearest Due Dates

This screen helps users quickly monitor business operations.

Chapter 4: Shop Profile Setup

Before using the application, configure your shop information.

Shop Details

Users can enter:

• Shop Logo

• Shop Name

• Owner Name

• Phone Number

• Shop Address

This information automatically appears on printed measurements and invoices.

How to Configure

1. Open Navigation Drawer.

2. Select Shop Detail.

3. Enter required information.

4. Save changes.

Chapter 5: save new measurement

Adding New Measurements

To create a new  measurement record:

1. Open Home 

2. Tap Add New Measurement.

3. Enter customer information.

4. Enter measurement details.

5. Save the record.

Customer Information

Users can store:

• Customer Name

• Phone Number

• Customer Number

• Address

• Additional Notes

• and other measurement detail

Duplicate Record Protection

ModernDarzee automatically checks for duplicate customer phone numbers.

If a duplicate record is detected:

• An alert message is displayed.

• Existing customer information can be reviewed.

This prevents accidental duplicate entries.

Chapter 6: Customizing Measurement Lists

ModernDarzee allows you to customize measurement options according to your tailoring requirements.

Manage Lists

You can add, edit, or remove items from measurement categories such as:

• Arm Styles

• Neck Styles

• Pocket Styles

• Stitching Styles

• Other custom measurement options

To customize these lists:

1. Open the relevant list.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the list.

3. Tap the Manage Lists button.

4. Add new items or modify existing ones as needed.

5. Save your changes.

All customized options will be available when creating or editing customer measurements.

Language Selection (One-Time Setup)

For the best experience, select your preferred languages before entering customer data.

ModernDarzee supports separate language settings for:

• App Language – Used for menus, buttons, and app screens.

• Print Language – Used when printing customer receipts and measurement slips.

To configure language settings:

1. Open Settings.

2. Select your preferred App Language.

3. Select your preferred Print Language.

4. Save your settings.

Important:

• Language selection is a one-time setup and can be changed later if needed.

• For the best results, enter customer measurements and details in the same language selected for printing.

• Using the correct language ensures better readability and professional-looking printouts.

Chapter 7: Family-Based Customer Management

ModernDarzee supports family-based customer management, allowing you to organize related customers under a single family record.

Benefits

When searching for a customer, other family members linked to the same family can also be displayed automatically.

This feature helps you:

• Track measurements of all family members.

• Manage household customers more efficiently.

• Quickly access related customer records.

• Improve customer service and record management.

• Print measurements of all family members at once.

Method 1: Link a Customer Using Family ID

When creating a new measurement record, you will find a Family ID field in top right page.

To add a customer to an existing family:

1. Create or open a new measurement record.

2. In the Family ID field, enter the Customer ID of the father, guardian, or head of the family.

3. Save the measurement.

The customer will automatically become part of that family group.

Method 2: Add Family Members Using the Add Child Button

You can also add family members directly from an existing customer's measurement record.

To do this:

1. Open the customer's measurement details.

2. Tap the Add Child button.

3. A new measurement screen will open automatically.

4. The Family ID field will already be filled with the selected customer's Family ID.

5. Enter the new family member's details and measurements.

6. Save the record.

This method is faster and helps ensure that all family members remain correctly linked.

Family Search and Display

When a customer belongs to a family group:

• Searching for one family member can display other linked members.

• Family records remain connected through the Family ID.

• You can easily switch between family members' measurements.

• Family measurement records can be managed and printed together when needed.

Tip: Use the Customer ID of the family head as the Family ID for all related members to keep family records organized and easy to manage.

Chapter 8: Sharing Measurements

Stored measurements can be shared with customers or staff.

Sharing save the measurement Options

• Cloud Storage

Procedure

1. Open Measurement display 

2. Select Share.

3. Choose a sharing method.

Chapter 9: Printing Measurements

ModernDarzee includes professional measurement printing.

Single Print

Single print from measurement display just tab to print button 

Multiple Print

Users can multiple print by selecting check box in the all measurements 

1. Search customers.

2. Select multiple records by check box.

3. Tap Print All.

Measurements are automatically printed one after another.

This feature significantly reduces administrative work.

Chapter 10: Creating Orders and Invoices

ModernDarzee allows you to create professional customer orders and invoices quickly and efficiently.

Order Information

Each order can include:

• Customer Details

• Selected Services

• Quantity

• Price

• Advance Payment

• Remaining Balance

• Order Date

• Due Date

• Additional Notes

Default Due Date

When a new order is created, ModernDarzee automatically sets the Due Date to 8 days after the Order Date.

You can modify the due date manually if required.

Method 1: Create a New Order from the Home Screen

1. From the Home Screen, tap New Order.

2. Tap the Add Customer button to select a customer.

3. Multiple customers can be added to the same order.

4. Mutiple services can ne added to the customer.

Adding Services

For each customer row:

1. Tap the Add Service button.

2. The service list will open.

3. Select one or multiple services.

4. The selected services and their default prices will be added automatically to the customer's order.

Managing Quantity

• Use the Plus (+) button to increase the quantity.

• Use the Minus (-) button to decrease the quantity.

• The total amount is updated automatically based on quantity and service price.

Managing Service List

You can customize your service list directly from the service selection screen.

1. Open the Service List.

2. Scroll to the bottom.

3. Tap Manage List.

4. Add new services.

5. Edit existing services.

6. Delete services that are no longer required.

Order Screen Buttons

At the bottom of the order screen:

• Left Button – Save: Saves the order without printing.

• Center Button – Add Customer: Adds another customer to the same order.

• Right Button – Save & Print: Saves the order and immediately prints the invoice.

Method 2: Create an Order from Existing Measurements

You can also create orders directly from customer measurement records.

1. Open All Measurements.

2. Search for the desired customer.

3. Select one or multiple customers.

4. Tap the Make Order button located at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

5. The selected customers will automatically be added to the order screen.

6. Add services, quantities, and payment details as needed.

7. Save or print the order.

Chapter 11: Payment Management

ModernDarzee supports flexible payment collection.

Full Payment

Mark complete payment as received.

Partial Payment

Record partial payment amounts.

Discounts

Apply customer discounts when required.

Remaining Balance

Outstanding balances are highlighted for easy tracking.

Chapter 12: Order Status Tracking

Every order progresses through different stages.

Pending

Automatically assigned when a new order is created.

Due Soon Alert

Orders due within 48 hours are highlighted for attention.

Overdue Orders

Overdue orders appear with a red warning indication.

Completed

Orders marked as completed appear with a green status.

Delivered

Delivered orders are stored separately for tracking purposes.

Chapter 13: Reports

ModernDarzee includes business reporting tools.

Chapter 15: Backup and Data Protection

Data security is a core feature of ModernDarzee.

Automatic Backup

Every time the application opens, an automatic backup is performed.

Manual Backup

Users can manually create backups from the Settings menu.
