Cancel via text message

The image above shows a typical confirmation message to a mobile service subscription. It contains:

• the service name (AntiVirus in this example)
• the service provider (Gamesaine)
• the keyword for cancellation (STOP)
• shortcode for cancellation (89365)
• a helpline (02037509082)

To stop the service in the example from billing you:

1. Open the SMS text app on your mobile phone.
2. Enter 89365 as the receiver's phone number.
3. Enter stop (or STOP, or Stop) as the message's content
4. Click the Send or Submit button
