Teaching
I view myself as an educator driven by passion, and I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with students to establish a high-quality learning environment. I focus on cultivating an interactive atmosphere built on trust and collaboration. I have received excellent feedback from students who appreciate the digital tools and problem-solving cases that I incorporate into my courses.
My teaching philosophy has been shaped by andragogy literature, cognitive sciences, and learning theories. The core of my 'facilitation of learning' (teaching style) involves leveraging peer-interaction discussions and educational technology to influence students' mental frameworks, fostering an improvement in their knowledge and skills through a constructive process. I organize learning processes, design seamless procedures that enable learners to transition smoothly from one level to another, and take cultural considerations into account when discussing topics. Throughout my career, I have instructed various courses, including financial portfolio management, risk management, corporate finance, and quantitative methods.
Example of my teaching materials:
Digital Central Bank Currency and social media cryptocurrencies projects (e.g. Diem) received significant attention from researchers and policymakers. Therefore, I designed this assignment to suit various learning styles. It is an interactive assignment intended to offer learners contemporary knowledge through videos, texts, presentations and information about academic writing (You may access this assignment by following this link :https://mustafanourallah.wixsite.com/e-kroba )
Supervision
I supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, and I have delivered lectures on methodologies relevant to digital banking and finance to both undergraduate and graduate students across various universities. I work closely with students, guiding them to identify research problems and assess data availability. My aim in supervising students is to motivate them to engage in meaningful research that can have a significant impact. I previously mentored a PhD student in Sweden and am currently supervising a PhD student in India.
