The multitype systems have a long history of collaborative projects. This collaboration makes it possible to do large projects that one system would not be able to do alone. Current projects include the Solo Librarian Resources website and the Statewide Continuing Education Calendar. Past projects include 23 Things On a Stick, More Things On a Stick, & 23 Mobile Things.

The Solo Librarian website compiles resources that assist library staff who work alone or in a setting with 1 or 2 other staff. Resources are organized by type of library, although many of the resources are applicable to all types of libraries. The Continuing Education Calendar lists training & events for Minnesota library staff. Listing are for opportunities that are open to all; those restricted to one library or system are not on the calendar. The multitypes also work with the Library Professional Development Network (LPDN) on expanding information about continuing education opportunities. The Calendar is maintained in partnership with other organizations including Minitex, CLIC, Minnesota Library Association, & ITEM. Send calendar additions to your multitype director.
