Multicultural Competency

The purpose of the multicultural competency require is to enable GCSP students to tackle larger challenges, often which can be global in scale. This often requires interacting and doing business with members from different nations, many of which could have vastly different cultural norms.

I took multiple courses with the intent of understanding other cultures, and framing it in the context of international relations. After successfully competing them, I can confidently say that I am much more aware of how to engage with differing cultures with respect.

This has also greatly increased my security awareness, as I have newfound insight on the committees put in place to set a healthy global ecosystem.
