About The Women of Today

Coon Rapids Women of Today

The Coon Rapids Women of Today Chapter is part of the Minnesota Women of Today.  We are part of Area Two and an active chapter in District Seven.

Our chapter was chartered on February 29, 2016.  We have been working in the community with civic groups like the Lions Clubs and Girl Scouts, and organizations like Alexandra House, ACBC Food Shelf, HOPE 4 Youth, Stepping Stones Emergency Housing, Anoka Hennepin Schools.  

We conduct an annual school supply drive, cleaning product and necessities drive, and were able to grant our first college scholarship in 2019.

Statewide, we volunteer for organizations like Crescent Cove, Wishes and More, Minnesota Milk Bank for Babies, and Sweet Dreams for Kids. 

We, the Women of Today, are service, growth, and fellowship. We believe that through us great lessons can be learned, worthy deeds performed, and a hand of fellowship extended to millions of women everywhere. 

May we leave the world a better place because we lived and served within it.

Service

The Minnesota Women of Today passionately believes in making the world a better place by serving others in our communities across the state. The needs of every community vary so chapter members choose service projects to sponsor in their own community.  

Growth

Women of Today provides opportunities for members to experience personal and professional growth in areas such as self-esteem, leadership, and communication skills. 

Fellowship

Members of Minnesota Women of Today have fun, form long-lasting friendships, develop their personal and professional talents, and give back to their communities. Membership in Women of Today provides opportunities to develop friendships with people who share similar interests. It's a great way to make friends in your community; you can also make friends across the state and the nation!
