Morning!

Here we go! The start to our journey to Philly!

We are excited to announce the music for the 250 year celebration of our Nation that we will play next year in both Philadelphia and our home town of Montrose.

We wanted to add another Patriotic song along with our timeless Salute To The Promised Land.

We asked our own Christopher W Johnson for a Patriot, short, simple yet powerful number and he came through incredibly well!

We made a change of how we will access music this year, making easier to access and download.

All parts are available as well as the sound tracks for Amber Waves on the CWJ Music House website - https://www.cwjmusichouse.com/mmu-alumni

(You can also access the music right on this website, on the Parade Music page.) When you access this site and download Amber Waves you will notice a QR code at the bottom of your part. Scan this code to access the YouTube Practice Tracks video to play along with. There are full Band and Drumline-only versions where the speed can be adjusted using the YouTube settings tool.

If you can not scan the code, the video will be available on the website listed above. If you should have any issue accessing the website or downloading your part, please contact Christopher Johnson directly or myself and we will assist you from that point.We will march to both Salute and Amber Waves for 2026. The expectation is both pieces completely memorized. No lyres will be allowed. If you do not have an instrument, it is highly recommended that you purchase, borrow or rent one now so that we are fully prepared and can bring our very best as we represent Montrose and our great Band in the biggest event in our Bands history!
