Due to the extreme heat forecast for Friday, the parade route has been signifcatnly shortened! We will now start at 5th & Chestnut, right on 6th, left on Market down to City Hall. We will then march around City Hall, ending at Broad and Chestnut. In total, it is two right turns, and three left turns - A SIGNIFICANT reduction!

We just received word. The Philly parade will be drastically shortened from 2.4 miles to 1 mile (Montrose is 1.6 miles to give you perspective).

In addition to the cooling fans we are purchasing, the parade is now providing 2 water stations at our stage as well as 1 air conditioned unit at each stage for anyone who needs some cool air while we wait.

This is awesome news!! We can stress less and really have a great time in this historic and once in a life time march as the Montrose Marching Unit.
