You've started to learn the impact that fast fashion has on the environment -- now it's time to take action!
Instead of throwing out clothes that are damaged or too small to wear any more, bring them into the classroom to create a clothing bank.Â
First, make sure the clothes are clean before you bring them to school.
Sort the clothes into categories like "good clothes for exchange" and "clothes for sewing practice." Make up your own categories if you have any other ideas. Even clothes that have holes can be cut apart for practice to learn sewing skills, used in other projects, or used to create something new to wear.
