Sarah: So, Kim, I thought maybe we could talk a bit about metamorphic rocks.
Kim: I'd love to talk about metamorphic rocks absolutely.
Sarah: So you think you can share with our friends, what are metamorphic rocks and where do we tend to find them?
Kim: Sure. So, metamorphic rocks are rocks that have undergone, you know, they were a rock before, so they either were a sedimentary rock or an igneous rock, and then they've had some intense pressures or temperatures that have changed them, or metamorphized them into something else. Metamorphosis means change.
Sarah: Just like with a butterfly.
Kim: Exactly.
Sarah: Cool!
