Prof. Mauro Mobilia, PhD (Google Scholar, ORCID, ResearchGate, UoL)
I am a full professor (Chair) of applied mathematics at the University of Leeds, UK. I earned my PhD from the Swiss Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and subsequently held three fellowships held at Boston University, Virginia Tech, the University of Munich (LMU), and at the University of Warwick. My main research interests are in statistical physics and applied mathematics, particularly in modelling the evolutionary dynamics of complex systems in the life and behavioural sciences. I was the principal investigator of the project "Eco-Evolutionary Dynamics of Fluctuating Populations" funded by the EPSRC in the UK and the NSF in the USA. I also coordinate the Leeds School of Mathematics Undegraduate Summer Bursary Scheme.
