Mechanical (MCL) and Marine and Naval Architecture (MNA) disciplines are adopting the results of English language tests in lieu of an essay or technical write-up in the Professional Assessment for Membership Admission via the General Experience and Formal Training Routes.
No validity period would be set for the language test results.
At the time of application, the applicant can provide one of the following in lieu of a writing assessment:
