Hotels

There are many good hotels in Uppsala. For your convenience, we have reserved a number of single and double rooms at Hotel von Kraemer and Akademihotellet. Those rooms and prices will be guaranteed until 19 May 2025. For both hotels, use the code "computer" when you book. See more details below.

Hotel von Kraemer. The hotel is located in between Ångström and the Uppsala Cathedral (closer to the latter). It takes 10-20 minutes to reach either on foot. Out of all hotels in Uppsala, this is the hotel closest to the Ångström laboratory. If you prefer, bus no. 12 (bus stop close to the hotel) runs frequently and will take you to Ångström. Our negotiated prices are guaranteed until mid-May and are as follows.

Single room: 1480 SEK/night

Doubleroom for 1 person: 1595 kr/night/room

Doubleroom for 2 persons: 1775 SEK/night/room

All prices include breakfast (with a good view) and VAT.

Note that if you try to book via Expedia or some other booking site, or even via Hotel von Kraemer's own webpage, it may well say that there are no available rooms, as the reserved rooms do not show up. If this happens, contact the hotel directly via phone +46 (0)18 495 99 00 or e-mail info@hotelvonkraemer.se. In either case: quote our booking code "computer".

Akademihotellet (the 2nd picture here). The hotel is located close to the Cathedral and the Castle, in the oldest and picturesquest part of Uppsala. It takes 5 minutes to reach the very center of Uppsala, and about 30 minutes to walk to the Ångström laboratory. If you prefer, bus no. 12 (bus stop close to the hotel) runs frequently and will take you to Ångström. The telephone number +46 (0)18 15 51 90.
