Analyze the prevalence of diabetes cases in San Diego by employing big data analytical tools and machine learning concepts in conjunction to develop a model of the data and extract analytics from this data as well as implementing interactive data tools to furnish an insightful and vibrant infographic website. 

Previous studies have provided evidence that suggests diabetes may be linked to race. The scope of this project is to determine what if any correlation may exist between race and prevalence of diabetes and to map the prevalence of diabetes within San Diego County and to generate estimates of diabetes prevalence by race and by city.
