M Messenger Privacy Policy

M Messenger respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the M Messenger application, why it is needed, and how users can control their data.
1. Information we process
M Messenger may process:
• Phone number and authentication information required for account registration and sign-in.
• Your unique nickname, profile photo and profile settings.
• M Messenger contacts and contact requests.
• Messages and content you choose to send, including text messages, voice messages, photos, videos and files.
• Technical and signaling information required to provide voice and video calls.
• Device and push-notification information required to deliver notifications.
• Technical information necessary for application security and operation.
2. How we use information
Information is used to provide and secure M Messenger features, including account authentication, chats, contacts, media and file sharing, voice and video calls, notifications and synchronization.
3. Service providers and data transmission
M Messenger uses Google Firebase services for functions such as authentication, database services, file storage and push notifications. Information transmitted between the application and backend services is sent using encrypted connections.
4. Messages and user content
M Messenger is a communication service. Users choose what information and content they send to other users. Content sent to another user is made available to the intended recipient or participants of the conversation.
5. Guest mode
M Messenger may provide temporary guest access. Guest accounts are currently valid for up to 24 hours and may have more limited functionality than registered accounts.
6. Device permissions
Depending on the features you use, M Messenger may request access to the camera, microphone, photos, videos or files. These permissions are used to provide the corresponding application features.
7. Data retention and deletion
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and protect the service or meet applicable legal requirements.
Users can permanently delete their M Messenger account directly from the application by opening:
Settings → Delete my account
Deleting the account initiates deletion of the M Messenger profile and associated account data. Content previously delivered to other conversation participants may remain in their conversation history or technical backups where applicable.

8. User safety
M Messenger provides controls for managing interactions with other users, including blocking and reporting functionality where available.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when M Messenger features or data-processing practices change. The current version will be published on this page.
