July 4, 2025 - Rajib Chowdhury has been selected as a Thin Film Division 2025 Graduate Award Winner and a finalist for the 2025 Thin Film Division James Harper Award at the AVS International Symposium in September 2025.
April 10, 2025 - Rajib Chowdhury won the 1st STEM Poster titled “Metal Interconnects and Low Dielectric Constant Materials for Semiconductor Devices” at the Graduate Student Appreciation Week.
March 25, 2025 - Dr. Jang has been selected as Faculty of Excellence, based on accomplishments during the 2024-2025 academic year, and will be recognized at the Honors Convocation and Academic Excellence Awards on April 10, 2025.
March 11, 2025 - Dr. Jang has been awarded the Rising Star Award and will be acknowledged at the Research Recognition Ceremony on March 14, 2025.

May 7, 2024 - Thomas Poche is the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s overall Outstanding Master’s Graduate. April 29, 2024 - Dr. Jang has been selected as Early Career Researcher of the Year and will be acknowledged during the spring commencement.
April 4, 2024 - Thomas Poche has been selected as Spring 2024 UL Alumni Association Outstanding Master’s Graduate Award Finalists. He will be recognized at the upcoming commencement ceremonies in May 2024.
April 2, 2024 - Thomas Poche successfully defended his thesis. The thesis title is "Synthesis and Characterization of Hydrogenated Amorphous Carbon Films Deposited by Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition of Cyclohexane Precursor".

July 10, 2020 - Dr. Jang has won an NSF grant titled “Design and Synthesis of Sustainable Dielectric Materials for Flexible Electronics” in July 2020. This research aims to achieve highly transparent, strong, and flexible dielectrics with electrical and mechanical stability for broad applications in flexible electronic devices.

April 2, 2020 - Dr. Jang received an award in April 2020 from the Louisiana Board of Regents Support Fund (BoRSF). (Rank # 1 among the 170 applications) The Research Competitiveness Subprogram (RCS) awarded funding to aid in her work regarding "Dielectric Failure and Recovery Mechanisms in Flexible Electronics" for the next 3 years.
