This workshop focuses on the potential contributions of visual and signal communication technologies to the design surrounding housing.
By doing so, we aim to explore new methods to more effectively and efficiently design urban living spaces, community design, and human behavior.
We invite presentations on the following (but not limited to) topics:
Image analysis (interior photos, floor plans, street view, satellite images, etc.) and image generation
3D modeling (VR, AR, MR, etc.)
IoT sensing (indoor and outdoor environments, human behavior, etc.)
Large language models (SNS, interviews, etc.)
Estimation (price, structure, age)
Automation and support of design
Application of visual and signal communication technologies to the design of urban spaces and community design
We invite submissions of original research papers addressing but not limited to the topics as listed above.
Submissions should adhere to the ACM Multimedia Asia 2025 formatting guidelines and will undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Accepted papers will be presented at the workshop and included in the workshop proceeding of the conference*. We also welcome submissions of demos, datasets, and position papers that contribute to the workshop's themes. The template can be found via: ACM MM Asia Regular Paper Submission Guidelines.
Page limits: each paper is 4-6 pages (not including references).
Papers have to be submitted via: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/MMAsia2025. Click 'Create new submission' and select the track 'Visual and Signal Communication Technologies in Design of Housing, Urban Spaces, Local Communities, and Human Behavior'.
