My interests are in Economics of Aging & Demographics, Social Security, Economics of Immigration. I have a special interest in using nontraditional data and unconventional statistical methods such as Genome-Wide Association studies to investigate the relationship between genetic variants and behavioral traits.

My main fields are Macroeconomics and Forecasting. My specialization is on Heterogenous-Agents Models, Learning Dynamics, Forecasting. Specifically, my work focuses on macroeconomic issues related to learning, agents' heterogeneity, and their ability to make accurate forecasts. While in theory economic agents should be very good at predicting important variables, in reality, we are very far from a satisfactory level of accuracy; this led me to work on new forecasting techniques.

My main research interests include Labor Economics and Health Economics. I have specialized in research topics related to economics of gender, human capital formation, immigration, discrimination, and heterogeneity in the labor market and health. I utilize various individual and household surveys as well as proprietary data in my research to empirically analyze the economic models on individual and household decisions. I am also Research Fellow in IZA.
