Video games rely so heavily on visuals but about 39 million people in the world can not enjoy basic video games like Wordle.
With Wordle, the children at St. Joseph's will be given similar experiences with video games.
The Process
With just an idea in my head, Mr. Matty and I sat down and wrote out what this "Wordle" game would look like and what would be included in the final version.
With this version, all of the code was functioning and allowed the player to go through the game as usual except for one small detail. The difference between this version and the current one is the fact that the person playing the game had to type each letter in individually. To take the game above and beyond, a new code was created to make it possible to type an entire word at once.
Wordle with individual letters
Transfer the coding of Accessible Wordle onto a new program to enhance the game. For example, create a code to make it possible for it to show if any letter repeats, or if there is only one of any given letter in the word. With these additions and improvements, there is a possibility it can be uploaded onto an App Store to become even more accessible for those in need.
