Nevaeh Warthen, a senior in the class of 2025, serves as the Battalion Commander and is actively involved in the drill team, orienteering team, and academic team, where she is the captain this year. Previously, she held the position of Color Guard Commander. Outside of her NJROTC commitments, Nevaeh enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She is also a member of the Student Government Association (SGA). After graduation, she aims to attend Howard University to major in Biology. Nevaeh values leadership for the opportunity it gives her to help her fellow cadets improve and succeed. 

Treni'd Yarrington is a senior in the class of 2025. While attending Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. high he has managed to maintain a 4.0 weighted GPA, and a 3.9 unweighted GPA. He is currently the executive officer of the unit and he is a lieutenant commander. He is also the drill team and orienteering team captain for this year, though he has taken on past roles such as supply officer, company commander, and athletics officer to name a few. Outside of NJROTC Treni'd enjoys Listen to music, playing games, playing football and basketball, hanging out with his loved ones, as well as works a part time job at dominos pizza. Treni'd is also the current Mr.MLK for the 2024-2025 school year. When Treni'd Graduates he would like to attend Howard University to major in law or engineering. His favorite thing about being a leader is seeing his younger cadets learn and grow as he was once in the same shoes, just starting out.
