What should you do after an online profile has been created? If you would like to be active in the digital world, then you are going to have find projects that you have an interest in. Start small and find, follow, read, like with a few of the mliteracy projects and their accounts.

You: Where are all my followers

Me: Whoa slow down

Me Have you found, followed, liked the mliteracy sites on Twitter / Facebook / Google plus / Instagram etc?

Me: Have you looked through the sites and found people and projects worth following?

Me: Have you tried to respond to other peoples posts and shared your your thoughts?

Me: Does the account you use have a memorable name?

Me: These are the first steps towards being a digital person who can connect, influence etc

You: So are you telling e that I need a digital brand?

Me: Nope. You are not trying to sell anything. Librarians work with people. You are just making it easier to connect digitally with other connected folk

You: So this digital biography isn't a one off activity?

Me: Nope. Its about your digital footprints. When you are ready, DM or message the mliteracy site and we can work on growing our PLN

You: Whats a PLN

Me: Sorry. That stands for Personal learning network. We'll talk about that later MUCH later.
