Marinus is our founding and managing partner.

Marinus obtained his LLB degree through the Northwest University Potchefstroom campus in 2012. He also holds various certificates in construction law, alternative dispute resolution and has the right of appearnace in the High Court.

Marinus started his career as a candidate attorney in Fochville, where he gained invaluable experience under the guidance of his principal, and Marinus believe that the best way to learn, is to do.

Upon relocating to Randburg Marinus moved his career to a prestige law firm in Randburg where he continued practicing in general litigation and was involved in various high profile High Court litigation acting for one of South Africa’s leading banking institutions as well as gaining experience in the Supreme court of Appeal.

After being admitted as an attorney in March 2015, Marinus was entrusted with heading up the general litigation and correspondent department at the firms Randburg branch.

In June 2015 Marinus join a new firm in Midrand and within 3 months of being appointed he was again appointed as the head of the general litigation department and successfully ran the practice for almost 9 years. 

During his career so far, Marinus gained the necessary skills to ensure that every client’s matter is dealt with on the highest standard, with diligence and care.

Marinus believes that: “Every client must be treated like they are your only and most important client.”

Outside of law, Marinus enjoys spending time with his family and staying active on his mountain bike or on the golf course.
