LAYOUT CONCEPT
Our layout concept comfortably separates living space from gear+bathroom space. Layout features revolve around:
- Our kitchen can be used indoors, or outdoors, or both. At its center is a custom cabinet and pull-out surfaces.
- Our bed is oriented with head and feet at the sides of the van, is 70" long and 53" wide. The taller of us is 5'9".
- The bed is spaced 24" forward from the rear door. This allows space and privacy for our composting toilet, and a changing room for getting into cycling clothes.
- The rear area also serves as gear garage for storing bikes and other gear under the bed while providing some safety from flying items.
