Service Overview:
His service to the university includes participating in the Collins College of Business Curriculum Committee (since 2020). He has been attending the committee meetings and contributing to discussions about faculty curriculum change requests. I also served on the college Distinguished Lecture Committee (2019-2020).
In addition, he has served on more than three faculty-search committees for Business Analytics and Operations Management. Dr.K has been on faculty-review committees for Finance and Business Analytics since 2019.
His service to the students includes counseling them and providing resources to be good candidates for the job market. Currently co-advising 2 Ph.D. and several MS students from TU and other schools.
His service to the profession includes international conference participation, serving on editorial review boards, and reviewing journal articles. Dr.K serves as an area editor of the Journal of Business Analytics, and Business Analytics & Big Data section of the Journal of Modeling in Management and guest editor of special issues on interpretable machine learning in Decision Support Systems and Annals of Operations Research. Also, I review papers for EJOR, DSS, Journal of Business Analytics, Healthcare Analytics Journal, Information Systems Frontiers, and Journal of Business Research.
