About Me...
Growth periods come at different times in our lives. When the time comes though unexpected or unplanned it's the best time to learn hardships and struggles. Why? Because challenges don't break us. They make us. As an overweight teen and young adult weighing more than 410 pounds, I had my insecurities. Self-doubt and fear will be the killer of many dreams. I heard NO a lot. It held me back until I learned NO meant "Next Opportunity". That's why I became a parent. A street parent that is. I give back to my community which is a part of me. I help young African Americans and other minority groups to be better & beyond become gritty, set goals, and give it their all.
Resilience. reflecting back, yes I'd do it again if necessary. At one point in my life, I thought I failed. Until I realized that Failing means First. Attempt. In. Learning. I still remember I prayed for the things I have now. Believe it, once in my life when I only had 2 visible knuckles 3 good month. I'm so happy I can see all 5 of my knuckles. How? It's the question I get asked the most. I stepped into my power and owned my worth. It was an ultimate lifestyle change in my mindset and life with Superfood that gave me Super results. I'm half the man I used to be. I lost 170 pounds naturally.
Integrity I've learned to ignore the voices in my head. This has allowed me to soar physically, mentally and emotionally. Professionally I keep trying with over 17 years of personal relationship building, direct sales, face 2 face, B2B, and B2B2C, I've carried titles such as Keynote Speaker, Regional Manager, Operations Manager, and Intern but the titles I'm most proud of are "Uncle", "Best Friend" "Brother" & "SUMMERBODY". Personally, I love self-care. Working out and editing photos or making videos is how I mentally give back to myself. I love to spend my time with my family. I am a google reviewer and park explorer. I love traveling and making superfood smoothies & cooking creative healthy (sometimes) plant-based dishes at home.
Tenacity, I am so grateful and proud of my unique story. Before learning that fear held me back until I learned that FEAR means Face. Everything and Rise. I learned to take my time and do it right. This helped me grow from being a middle school dropout to having a college degree. All because I believed in me. Thank you so much for reaching the end of my bio. But it's not really the end. Remember "end" means Effort. Never. Dies. and my name is Terrence Michael Scott.
