The yearbook is more than just a book; it is a professional-grade publication produced entirely by our students. From the first shutter click to the final page proof, our staff works tirelessly to document the unique legacy of our school community.
Our team is comprised of approximately 50 dedicated student journalists across three distinct levels of expertise:
Yearbook 1 & 2: Developing photographers and writers learning the art of visual storytelling and digital design.
GT (Gifted & Talented): Our senior editorial leadership, responsible for theme development, branding, and final production oversight.
The Yearbook Club: A passionate group of volunteers who ensure we have "eyes and ears" at every school event, no matter how small.
The yearbook is a self-funded project. When you purchase a book or a senior dedication ad, you aren't just buying a keepsake; you are supporting a hands-on learning laboratory. Your contributions allow our students to use industry-standard equipment and software, preparing them for careers in media, communications, and graphic design.
We want the community to be part of the process! Here is how you can get involved:
Share Your Photos: Did you capture a great shot at a community event? Email them to mkyearbook@mhrd.org submit photos for consideration.
Order Your Copy: Don't miss out on the early-bird pricing for this year’s volume.
Business Sponsorships: Support student journalism while promoting your local business to hundreds of families.
"A yearbook is the only textbook you’ll keep for the rest of your life."
