The application date for first time applicants and High School Seniors is
May 8, 2026.
Applications must be complete and submitted by midnight of the application date or they will not be considered.
Your Application will require you to provide the Scholarship Corporation with the following information:
Name, Address, Telephone, Email.
Calendar years you attended Wolcott Elementary School
Current high school or college transcript
Financial Documentation:
You will need to include your FAFSA Submission Summary showing your Student Assistance Index. This is just the cover page of your FAFSA statement. We do not need the entire package.
The statement provided by your program or college showing your cost of attendance, and your financial aid package showing any financial aid and merit awards.
Completed "Financial Need Form"
2 short reference statements (8-10 sentences) from people who can attest to your academic performance and/or your financial need. (We strongly recommend one be from your high school guidance counselor and the other can be from a teacher or community member. References may be uploaded in the application form, or share this Recommendation Form with your referral. . Your references do not have to arrive with your application. If you or your references email us directly we can sort it together.
A personal statement of approximately 300 words (one page) that introduces you to the people who will judge your application. Your statement should address the following questions:
-Why you have chosen your college and how it will help you achieve your future goals;
-Your strengths as a student
-How the scholarship will help you financially meet your academic goals
-A story or reflection about how your time at WES helped shape you.

We will email you to let you know when we have received your completed application or if we require additional information. If you mail your application, make sure to call or email us to let us know so that we can look for its delivery. We must have the application in our hands by the due date, so mail early.
You will hear from the Scholarship Committee on your final acceptance in mid June.
