Hello, my name is Jerome. I am currently a secondary school student at Victoria School. In school, my favourite subjects are probably History and Music, as both of them reflect on how the human race and society has evolved over the years. History tells us how humans have evolved into what we are today, whereas Music shows us the auditory taste of humans. This tells you a lot about my personality, right?
Some of the recent achievements within my education are probably Mathematical Olympiads and Chemistry Olympiads, but I'd like to show you past that (excuse the propaganda). I achieved a ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano back in 2018, which I would like to further develop when I have the time. I also have other sporting achievements, from Taekwondo to Kayaking.
Some of my interests, aside from the aforementioned History and Music, are learning languages and travelling. I am a polyglot, so I enjoy learning new languages and scripts so that I can survive somewhere, if I happen to find myself in a foreign land when I wake up one day. If only I could just wake up in a foreign land, travelling is also an interest of mine as I get to see different aspects of the world, not just the one that I live in everyday.
In my free time, if I have, I enjoy writing and reading mainly regarding culture and travel. Aside from that, I also love biology, even though I was denied the opportunity to take it as a subject in school. I also enjoy making music, mostly piano related ones since that was part of the O Level syllabus for Higher Music. Most importantly, I like to sit on my bed while scrolling through Instagram on a rainy day, with Chopin Nocturnes playing in the background. I also take an "entertainment" hobby of astrology, just for the fun of it. What's your sun sign?
If you would like to find out more about me, perhaps drop me an anonymous Tellonym here, I'll casually respond to your queries. Alternatively, you can always ask more about me through any means of contact provided, just introduce yourself so I won't get a shock. I don't receive human-typed emails everyday.
I know that was a lot to digest, but thanks for reading!
