Thank you for visiting!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration and Policy at the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY).

My research focuses on examining the causal effects of K-12 education systems on students’ health and behavioral outcomes. Currently, my research evaluates the impact of school-based health interventions—such as mental health education and services provided by school health staff—on student outcomes using quasi-experimental methods.

As a public policy scholar, I aim to provide rigorous empirical evidence on how public policy shapes various aspects of human development, influencing long-term individual trajectories and promoting social equity.

Since 2022, I have worked as a graduate assistant program evaluator for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Disease Intervention Specialist (DIS) Workforce Development program, funded by the New York State Department of Health (NYDOH). My role involves conducting needs assessments through qualitative analysis with public health professionals and medical providers offering HIV/STIs services, aiming to strengthen the DIS workforce in New York State.
