The Countryballs are a group of anthropomorphic Filipino fairies who are based on a country. They include:
Poland is the main character. She is a cheerful, happy, and friendly character. While she has an innocent, childlike demeanor and energy, she is often a target for attacks and teasing by other Countryballs.
North Korea is the main enemy and one of the villains in the series. His goal is to frame South Korea and make her look bad, and to become the most powerful leader of all the Countryballs.
Serbia wants to claim Kosovo as part of his own territory in the series. He is also a key conflicting villain in the series, along with North Korea.
South Korea is the tech-savvy, smart Countryball that North Korea wants to exploit. She is also a big fan of K-pop and singing!
Japan is also tech-savvy and smart, like South Korea, but she can be shy and reserved when necessary.
France is the Countryball with fashion and flair. He/she enjoys baguettes and everything art! Her/his gender varies by the dub version, so in one dub he/she might be a boy, and in another a girl.
Italy is France's closest friend that loves pizza (obviously), but do not put his forbidden toppings on it, such as ketchup, vodka, and/or pineapple, otherwise he might lose it and have a rampage. It's better to be safe than sorry!
Vietnam is the group's troublemaker and China's younger brother. He is quite annoying and is among the least mature Countryballs in the series.
Thailand is the Countryball with hospitality. He is Vietnam's cousin and China's friend. He works with her, China, to stop Vietnam from misbehaving in the episodes.
China is the studious, intelligent Countryball that prioritizes good behavior and education over everything else, and can be rude at times.
The USA is a bold, loud, and assertive Countryball that always wears sunglasses. He is one of Poland's primary supporters, but can be cheeky, playful, or even flirty while talking to her.
Russia is Vietnam's sidekick and helper when he's pulling pranks. He's also an alcoholic who drinks vodka multiple times a day.
Germany's the superhero of all the Countryballs! He works around the clock to enforce order and stability in the Countryballs and keep North Korea and Serbia at bay.
The UK serves as a father/brother figure for the US character in the series. Unlike the USA, which is bold, loud, and assertive, he is reserved, strategic, smart, and innovative.
Brazil is the Countryball who is also a troublemaker, but he only wants to play and party, blowing the troublemakers' plans and ultimately getting them caught. He also only says "hue", making it difficult for the others to understand him.
and so on. If it's a country, it's probably a Countryball!
Abigail is a Dutch girl and caretaker of the Countryballs. She is patient, fashionable, and has great taste. She appeared in Season 4. She is known for her long, blonde hair, blue dress, and sometimes a blue bow.
Ashlyn is the second caretaker of the Countryballs. She is kind, compassionate, friendly, and cheerful with her friends and anyone. As with Abigail, she wears a dress and bow that is her favorite color, pink.
Ava is the third caretaker of the Countryballs. Like the rest of her friends, she is kind, and appeared in Season 4 as well. Similar to the other caretakers, she wears a dress and bow that is her favorite color, green.
