This Privacy Policy explains how Nextpixel Apps ("we", "us") handles information in the MixCam app for iPhone ("MixCam" or "the app").
MixCam does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
Your videos and photos stay on your device. We never upload them to our servers.
MixCam has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites.
Purchases are handled by Apple, and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat.
We do not collect, store or sell your recordings, photos, voice, face data, location, contacts, or browsing activity. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
MixCam asks for these permissions only to provide its features:
Camera: to record from the front and back cameras at the same time.
Microphone: to record sound with your videos. If you decline, MixCam records silent videos.
Photo library (add only): to save your recordings and photos to your photo library.
Your recordings are kept in MixCam's private storage on your device and in your photo library if you allow it. You can change these permissions at any time in the iPhone Settings app.
The following features analyze the camera image in real time, on your iPhone only. Nothing is sent to us, and the analysis results are not stored:
Auto-framing: finds your face so it stays centered.
Hands-free recording: recognizes an open palm to start or stop recording.
Cutout: separates you from your background.
Smart PiP placement: moves the picture-in-picture window away from faces and subjects.
Title and hashtag suggestions: created with Apple Intelligence on your device, where available.
This processing uses Apple's built-in frameworks. It does not identify who you are, and it does not create face or body data that leaves your device.
If you use Add Captions, MixCam asks for speech recognition permission and turns the speech in that video into text. When your iPhone supports it, this happens entirely on your device. If on-device recognition isn't available, the video's audio is sent to Apple's speech recognition service to create the captions. Apple handles that audio under the Apple Privacy Policy. We never receive your audio or the transcript.
Payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment card details.
We use RevenueCat to check whether you have MixCam Premium and to restore your purchases. To do this, RevenueCat receives:
an anonymous app user ID,
your purchase and subscription history for MixCam,
basic device and app information, such as the iOS version, app version, country or region, and IP address.
This information is used only to provide and support your purchases. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Apple Search Ads
We advertise MixCam with Apple Search Ads. To see which campaigns lead to installs and purchases, MixCam uses Apple’s AdServices framework to get an anonymous attribution token, which RevenueCat uses to fetch campaign details from Apple. This does not use your advertising identifier (IDFA), does not involve tracking, and does not include your name, email or other personal information. You can manage Apple’s advertising settings on your iPhone in Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and help you, and we delete it when it's no longer needed.
Your recordings, folders and history stay on your device until you delete them. You can delete recordings in the app, and deleting MixCam removes its private storage from your device. Copies saved to your photo library stay there until you delete them in Photos.
Purchase records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide your purchases and to meet legal requirements. To ask for your RevenueCat data to be deleted, email us at the address below.
MixCam is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on where you live (for example, in the EU, UK, California or India), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to how it is used. Because we hold almost no personal information, most requests concern RevenueCat purchase data. Email us and we will help within the time required by law.
We may update this policy when the app changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
