We are a research group working in the broad area of Process Systems Engineering in the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. 

Our research is focused on developing optimization and control algorithms for the solution of decision-making problems arising in the decarbonization of energy systems, resilient operation and design of supply chain networks, and the development of intelligent and autonomous systems.  We combine tools from mathematical optimization, artificial intelligence, control theory, and chemical engineering.  

Currently, we are working on the following directions:

• Accelerating mathematical optimization via AI

• Efficient optimization algorithms for optimal operation of chemical processes

• Supply chain management
