Ph.D. Positions

We are seeking hardworking and passionate students who wish to pursue their Ph.D. in the areas of Inorganic Functional Materials (Metallogels, gel-derived materials), supramolecular chemistry and catalytic transformations and value addition of plant biomass derived materials. Short-term visits for graduate/ undergraduate students

Graduate and undergraduate students can get involved in our research through short and long term projects (summer research / dissertations / semester-long projects). Interested students may e-mail their resume to joyeemitra@csmcri.res.in, joyeemitra@gmail.com. Students are encouraged to apply for fellowships from Science Academies' Summer Research Fellowship Program.

Post-Doctoral Positions

Prospective research fellows who want to apply for own funding (e.g. CSIR-Nehru Post-Doctoral Fellowship, DST National Post Doctoral Fellowship, DST Women Scientists Scheme) are encouraged to contact. The candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemistry. Additional expertise in the area of coordination chemistry, materials chemistry or catalysis is advantageous.
