We are seeking hardworking and passionate students who wish to pursue their Ph.D. in the areas of Inorganic Functional Materials (Metallogels, gel-derived materials, hydrogen-bonded systems), recovery of metals from waste and in catalytic transformations. Highly motivated M.Sc. (Chemistry) students are encouraged to apply throughout the year. Students with their own fellowship (UGC/CSIR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE etc will be given preference.

Prospective research fellows who want to apply for own funding (e.g. CSIR-Nehru Post-Doctoral Fellowship, DST National Post Doctoral Fellowship, DST Women Scientists Scheme) are encouraged to contact. The candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemistry. Additional expertise in the area of coordination chemistry, materials chemistry or metal extraction/separation is advantageous.
