Ankur Jain completed his M.Tech. in Structural Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2016. He joined the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Ropar in July 2019. He is working on the research problem of seismic design of secondary systems in multi-storey buildings. His research work emphasizes on quantification of the torsional amplification effects, and its incorporation in building codes, for seismic design of acceleration-sensitive secondary systems.
Dharmil Baldev completed his M.Tech. in Computer-Aided Structural Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad in 2020. Thereafter, he joined the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Ropar in September 2020. He is presently working on developing post-earthquake building recovery.
Argha Ghosh completed his M.Tech. in Structural Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur. He joined as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Ropar in June 2020. He worked on the identification of traditional and contemporary building types, and earthquake loss estimation in hilly regions.
Iqra Latif completed her M.Tech. in Structural Engineering from the Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 2018. She joined the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Delhi in July 2019. She worked on topic "Explaining Seismic Response and Fragility of RC Frames through Machine Learning" during her Ph.D.. As a part of her Ph.D. research work she developed machine learning assisted dashboards to estimate various response parameters of RC buildings.
