Orientation Sessions (JP, MIT, and MIT Home Department):
Summer MIT-WHOI JP Orientation at WHOI: Thursday, June 25
Fall MIT-WHOI JP Orientation at MIT: Tuesday, September 8
It's important to attend both orientation sessions or be sure you review a recording of both sessions. Some information will be similar, but some will be timely to immediate next steps for Summer and/or Fall.
MIT Orientation Sessions:
Wednesday, September 2 - Various offices on campus offer multiple sessions between 10am - 4pm for your edification
Thursday, September 3 - Required Kresge Auditorium. 9am - 1pm; includes lunch.
Tuesday, Sept. 8 - Graduate Resource Fair (1 -3pm); the MIT-WHOI JP Orientation schedule on this day accounts for this session so you may attend if you like.
MIT Home Department Sessions:
Details about each (date, location, requirements related) will be shared on this website and via email as they become available.
Summer Dates:
MIT: June 8th - August 14th
WHOI: June 1st (can start as late as June 29th) - August 22nd*
*start date is flexible as long as you complete a full 8 weeks (not including any vacation time)
