Sheep For Sale

First, a little education for buying and selling sheep, specifically Romneys. Below are some resources to help you on your venture if this is your first time buying/selling, or even if you have many years of experience - it is a good refresher!

Buyer Checklist - Gives buyers tips on where to find Romneys, what to look for, and information on registration.

Seller Checklist - Gives sellers tips on where to advertise their Romneys and ensure they are providing quality sales to buyers as word of mouth and repeat buyers are very important in this industry.

Bill of Sale - This is helpful to ensure exchange of necessary information , acts as a receipt for tax purposes, and helps to protect both the buyer and seller.

Now, onto the sheep sales!

Please complete our Sheep Inquiry Form so that we can best assist you in your search. As we are a very small flock and have limited availability, we may use this information to make our waiting list for upcoming lambing seasons (highly recommend completing sooner rather than later, no deposit needed). If we do not have what you are looking for, we are happy to assist in connecting you with other breeders.

All animals will be:

- Identified with official USDA scrapie tags

- Current on CDT vaccination

- Appropriately dewormed

- Weaned and fully on grain and hay/grass (dam-raised lambs will not be sold prior to 70 days old; bottle lambs may be sold unweaned to those with experience)

We will provide:

- Bill of sale

- Health certificates (as required)

- Registration and transfer information (as applicable)

- Records (medical, breeding, feeding regimen, etc.)

- Feed upon request (if switching feed, we highly recommend doing so gradually)

- Free delivery to Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival and Maryland State Fair

- Additional transportation assistance may be arranged for an additional fee
