I was recognized as the K-12 Media Literacy Teacher of the Year by the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE).
2022
I was recognized as the Kentucky School Librarian of the Year from Kentucky Association of School Librarians (KASL).
2021
After a school year when meeting the needs of online learners and educators were more critical than ever before, my work as webmaster of the Trinity High School Library website was rewarded with KASL's Outstanding School Library Media Website Award.

Between 2015-16, I spearheaded a $200,000 renovation to Trinity High School's W. Peter Flaig Library Media Center.Â

In fall 2016, I was featured in the fall edition of Trinity's The Leader magazine. In 2017, my library's makerspace was featured in the Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative's "Making Conversation" Skype series. The new makerspace included 3D printers, MakeyMakey kits, VR headsets, Adobe software, video production equipment, LEGOs, a word magnet table, and a media table.
