Privacy Policy for CalciHub

CalciHub ("the App") is developed and published by MistCast. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information Collection and Use

To provide a seamless experience, CalciHub offers features that require data storage:

* User Accounts: The App provides an option to log in (via Google or Email). If you choose to log in, we collect basic profile information to identify your account across devices.

 * Favorite History & Sync: When logged in, your "Favorite History" and saved calculations are stored securely using Google Firebase. This allows your data to sync automatically when you log in on a different device.

 * Skip Option: You may choose to use the App without logging in. In this case, your data is stored locally on your device and will not be synced to our servers or available on other devices.

2. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

 * Google Firebase: Used for authentication and real-time database hosting to sync your favorites.

 * Google Play Services: Used for app functionality and stability.

3. Log Data

In case of an error or crash in the App, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, and the time and date of your use.

4. Data Security

The security of your "Favorite History" is important to us. We use Firebase's secure infrastructure to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

 * If you use the App as a guest (Skip Login), your data remains on your device and is deleted if you clear the App's cache or uninstall it.

 * If you have an account, your synced data is stored as long as your account exists. Users can request data deletion by contacting us.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. MistCast does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
