I am well versed in using iPads. I have had one available for many of my teaching experiences- both formal and informal. I am able to navigate an iPad myself and help students navigate theirs as well. The main applications I currently use to teach the students I tutor include the ShowMe App (a whiteboard app), iMovie, Khan Academy (a standard based practice app), and Planbook. I am also familiar with screen mirroring to share any applications or documents from my iPad with a large group.
Through creating this website, and other websites, I have become familiar with Google Sites and I feel comfortable creating new websites as needed.
Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, I have become very familiar with using Zoom. If flex learning is needed again in the future, I am prepared to use Zoom. I have a thorough understanding of how to use the controls and extra features provided to maximize student learning at a distance.
I am very comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. I have used these programs for many assignments and to prepare teaching tools. I am also ready to guide others in using these programs.
I am very familiar with Google's websites. I use these websites often for collaboration with coworkers and peers. I am comfortable using them and I am always ready to assist others in using these.
I have had plenty of experience exploring Google Classroom and learning how the website works. I know how to post assignment, post quizzes, post videos, communicate to students through the newsfeed, enter grades on Google Classroom (and transfer those grades using the Grade Transfer Application), and much more.
Through my student teaching experience, I have learned how to use SeeSaw. I have used it for a variety of things. I have used it to communicate with parents, to assign extra activities to students, for students to share what they are learning with their families, for students to make videos to reinforce topics, etc.
