Effective Professional Development

As we want most things in life to be effective, we also want our work training to be effective. Below, I've included an infographic that shows the components of effective professional development. These concepts are transferrable and can be implemented to increase the effectiveness of any work training; whether it is a set of skills or knowledge base material you are trying to teach/inform.

Backward Design

Below is a YouTube video that I have created on Backward Design. This 4:39 minute video will go over what is the Backward Design Framework, and give an example of it's application in the education world. Throughout this video I also mention two forms of assessment and explain the difference's in how they are used in my classroom.
