My early literacy program is designed for children ages 3-6 years old. This program focuses on foundational phonics, sight word recognition, counting, fine motor skills and printing. This program balances a variety of teaching methods to hold the attention of young learners, including game based learning, hands on teaching, and traditional methods.

Elementary Reading & Writing
My elementary reading and writing programs mirror the Ontario curriculum. This program begins with a short assessment of phonics, sight word recognition, comprehension and spelling. If writing is a concern as well, I add a grade level writing assessment. This assessment informs my lesson content for each student to address their individual needs.
I am always happy to communicate with classroom teachers to help mirror my lessons to what is being focused on in class as well.

High School Supports
High School Supports
I offer supports for high school students in English, History and Geography. Students would bring in their classwork or assignments for us to work on together. I specialize in essay writing, exam preparation, and study skills workshops as well.
