Expanding Opportunities for Ladakhi Students

In recent years, Ladakhi students have gained widespread access to information about scholarships & entrance exams, thanks to the efforts of people , various student unions & organizations. However, there is a need to go beyond these common opportunities and explore new avenues that remain largely unknown in Ladakh.

This group is dedicated to sharing such opportunities, national and international, that can benefit students in diverse fields. While researching for internships, ( doing internships are uncommon in Ladakh, which is must for college students) and other programs, I came across numerous opportunities available for Indian students. I will be sharing all these opportunities, along with relevant website links, so that everyone can easily access and explore them.

It is crucial to receive the right information at the right time, especially in today’s world, where information is abundant but often overwhelming. Our website is currently in progress, and once completed, we will share the link for easy access to all these opportunities. You can share relevant information to this group.

How to Grab National & International Internships & Exchange Programs

If you’re aiming to apply for international or national internships and student exchange programs, preparation is key. Based on my own journey,

here are some important things you must do to increase your chances:

1. Passport (Must)

Start by applying for your passport as early as possible. Most international programs require passport details during the application process.

2. LinkedIn Profile

Build a professional LinkedIn profile. It helps you:

Your CV must be updated and well-formatted. Highlight your:

Got an opportunity to participate in student exchange program in Taiwan host by FGU

French + Science Program 2025 Awardee

I am happy and honored to share that I am selected as one of the top five students from across India for the prestigious French + Science Program, a unique international initiative that integrates language immersion with scientific exploration.

I am currently participating in the theme “Micro, Nano & Smart Technology for Industrial Applications” in Besançon, France, as part of this one-month, 16-credit academic program in June 2025. This initiative is specially designed for international students in science and technology, offering a rare blend of academic enrichment and French language training, organized by the French Institute in India (IFI) and the Embassy of France.

The "French + Sciences" program is primarily offered by Campus France, a French government agency promoting higher education and international exchange. It brings together students from around the world to collaborate with top researchers, visit cutting-edge laboratories, and explore emerging technologies.

I am proud to be part of a vibrant cohort of 45 international students, including peers from Australia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, and Türkiye. I look forward to learning new things, exploring advanced technologies, and experiencing the culture of this amazing country.

I want to emphasize the abundance of international opportunities available to Indian students. There are so many global programs out there, we just need to stay informed and take the initiative to apply.

Five months ago, I created a WhatsApp group that now includes over 500 members, where I regularly post updates about scholarships, international programs, research internships, student exchanges, and more. My goal is to make these platforms more accessible to students across the country, especially in Ladakh, where access to such information is limited.

If any student needs information or tips about this program or similar opportunities, feel free to reach out to me anytime through any of my social media handles. I’m always happy to share what I know, especially with students from Ladakh who may not yet be aware of these life-changing programs.
