How It Was Born

Back in 2020, when our founder Tsering Gaphel had just completed his schooling and was searching for college admissions, he realized how difficult it was for many Ladakhi students, especially those from remote areas, to get timely information about scholarships, entrance exams, and opportunities.

Due to a lack of guidance and access to the right information, he missed out on several important exams and scholarships. After joining college, he felt strongly that this gap needed to be filled. He believed that the challenges he faced should not be repeated by younger students from Ladakh.

During his first year of college, Tsering began helping and guiding other students. He also started creating short and informative content about national exams and scholarships in the Ladakhi language, making it easier for students to understand.

That’s how MissionUpliftLadakh was born a platform dedicated to sharing useful, timely, and student-friendly content. Tsering has been running this initiative for the last 4–5 years with the belief that giving back to society and helping others at the right time is truly important.
