While there are seemingly endless options for teachers when it comes to educational sites its hard to know which ones are the best. I have reviewed several art education websites and provided below is my recommendation for the Color Matters site.

Color Matters is a site run by Jill Morton, a published professor of color. The site contains a range of resources, but focuses on the psychology behind color. There are many very interesting articles that will help teachers better explain the symbolism of color to their students.
The Color Matters site is expertly crafted in its organization. With so many tabs and categories it is easy to become engrossed in the site for hours. The colored images on the site are well calculated for computer viewing an important detail when discussing color. The site also incorporates a search engine feature which allows its users to quickly find specific information.

Overall, I would highly recommend this site for high school and middle school students. The main appeal of the site is the quality information, so it may not hold the attention of younger elementary students. The quality craftsmanship plus the expert knowledge presented makes Color Matters one great site!
